Crowpaw was new to the apprentice's den, though he was aware of the other apprentices being.... Similarly new. Of course, Crowpaw was the newest, though there were some slightly older than him. He thought to perhaps endear himself to them. If not to make friends, which certainly wouldn't be bad, at least to make some personal allies amongst his denmates. It'd be rather.... Unfortunate to have strangers for denmates, and even worse to allow them to gain a negative impression of him. So, during some downtime when he crawled into the apprentice's den and saw another apprentice laying in their nest not far from him, he thought to make his move.
Perking up his ears in interest, eyes alert, and wearing a pleasant smile, he made himself known to this other apprentice. "Hello there. You're.... Otterpaw, if I remember from your ceremony, right?" He asked, his tone smooth and pleasant. He did his best never to give anyone the impression that he was anything.... Unsavory.
