:: Appearance ::
Goldenleap is a slightly large tom with long legs and a stocky kind of
build. He has the trademark powerful legs of Iceclan, and cuts an intimidating
figure. Or, he would if he didn't slouch all the time. He has thick fur that make him
appear quite fluffy, and it has been theorized he's actually rather scrawny and is
mostly just fluff without much muscle. His fur is a soft golden color with tabby stripes
throughout, and his eyes are a soft hazel color. Goldenleap has been fortunate to
escape scars thus far through his life.
:: Personality ::
Goldenleap often times wears a lazy smile that tends to aggravate those around him,
as if he doesn't care what others have to say or about how his own actions reflect upon
the clan. He is often times pegged as the laziest member of the clan, and whom
doesn't actually contribute or amount to all that much. He doesn't do much
to try and fight back against his reputation, despite the fact that he does do
his part, even if he is not particularly vocal about his loyalty or dedication to the
clan as his other clan members may be.
He has a good sense of humor and loves a good joke of any kind, and is unafraid
to laugh at anyone. No one is too high status for him to laugh at, though if it seems
that he might be severely punished for daring to do so, he might just hold his tongue.
As he values his tongue more than expressing his laughter.
Despite Goldenleap's sense of humor, he is rather pessimistic in nature. He doesn't
believe in the goodness of cats, and is of the belief that the clans exist just so it's
harder to starve to death or so cats can tell themselves they won't be dying alone.
He remains loyal to the clan, but he doesn't tend to like other cats and he tends to
assume the worst of others' characters. He's not one for sugarcoating, and is more
likely to be blunt to others. After all, he does not care what others think of him, so he
will add what he thinks without fear.
Though in reality, Goldenleap is hurt by the way he has been treated in the past. Though,
he thinks himself numb to the treatment and tells himself that he can no longer hurt
when others hurl unkind words at him. He simply doesn't think anyone could bother
to truly care, when they didn't seem to when he was younger.
:: History ::

Goldenkit was born to a she-cat named Windlight and a tom named
Sunnyflame. His parents weren't mates. Windlight already had a mate.
Windlight and Sunnyflame had an affair of sorts and Goldenkit was the
byproduct. He was an only child, but had four half-siblings. His mother
died in childbirth and Sunnyflame was incredibly ashamed. He died soon
after Goldenkit was born. He was shunned by his half-siblings, them blaming
him for Windlight's death and simply for being a reminder of their mother's
lack of faith to their biological father Featherpool. With his half-siblings being older,
they prevented him from making any friends. His kit days were lonely. The only
cat standing up for him was a previous queen whose kits had failed to make it,
being deemed a necessary sacrifice for the clan and thus killed during a recent Leaf-bare,
being deemed a necessary sacrifice for the clan and thus killed during a recent Leaf-bare,
by the name of Rainscales. She adopted Goldenkit essentially was his only source
of conversation that wasn't entirely hostile. She loved him. He considered her more
of a mother than Windlight.

Goldenpaw tried his best to prove himself, that he wasn't a mistake. His existence
wasn't just the marker of a tragedy. He was a good thing for Iceclan, even if
his biological mother had died for him to live. It was hard, when his mentor merely considered
him an obligation. But then Rainscales died, bitten by a snake in the territory.
He'd lost the cat he considered his mother. Along with her, any positive
support for Goldenpaw disappeared. No other cat would even consider
being nice to him. He lost his ambition, since mostly he'd been trying to make
Rainscales proud of him, despite the general opinion of him. He adopted
a laid-back attitude, pretending he could care less. The clan thought him
a waste of space. He didn't seem to care.

Much to the surprise of many, Goldenleap eventually earned his name. Many muttered
about his name being ill fitting due to his apparent laziness.
He doesn't seem to care.
