Lilypaw lightly groaned as light invaded into the den, hitting her drowsy eyes and waking her up slowly. She didn't want to get up... Why can't she just lay down forever and never get up? Is that an option? Well, it is, but she'd probably get killed. The little she-cat shivered at the thought, and opened her eyes to stare at the morning light glaring down at her. Thoughts and ideas of the events for the day ran through her head, although they weren't very much exciting. While she enjoyed her position and would take it any day over being a warrior apprentice, sorting and finding herbs wasn't exactly the most exhilarating of activities (although she would never admit that to Thrushpool). Oh well, better than nothing, she guessed.
Well, if she was thinking about the day, she should probably start it. The she-cat yawned, and slowly rolled herself out of her nest. She lied down on the hard ground for a few minutes before stretching and hoisting herself up... Okay, she was finally up, and it only took... A few minutes, at least. Lilypaw sighed to herself. She should try to get out of bed faster. What if there was a fire and she was just unable to get up like the stupid lump she was? Oh Starclan, that'd be awful... The brown and black she-cat shivered once again and quickly rushed outside of the den.
The morning heat of Greenleaf crashed down on her as she hurried out, making her wince slightly. Aw geez, would there be enough prey out in this heat? What if there wasn't enough water? What if-
Her thoughts were interrupted as the small apprentice crashed headfirst into another cat. Lilypaw let out a squeak and immediately shuffled back. Oh Cloudclan, don't be mad... The she-cat tried to smile, but it came out painfully sheepish. "Um, are you okay!? I'm so, so sorry!" She murmured meekly, shrinking back slightly.
