She woke up and exited the warriors' den early to avoid being in the way, went on a walk by herself, and finally slipped back into the clan when she found a way to go unnoticed. She didn't like it this way. It was painfully lonely. 'I wish I wasn't such a nuisance.' There was, however, one cat that she wanted to see whenever she could. Her darling little sister. Seeing as the sun was just beginning to set, she remembered that some queens put their kittens to bed at this hour. 'Hopefully she'll be awake.' Stepping into the nursery, she leaned her small frame against one of the walls and peered around for her. "Ivorykit?"

She took a few steps in Pineswirl's direction, relieved to see her. Those few steps reviled an annoying tongue coming from the two's mother, trying to pull Ivorykit back in for a bath. "Mooom, it's Pineswirl!" she whined, trying to worm herself out of her mother's grasp again. ~~"It's also bedtime."~~ her mother replied shortly. *"C'mon, it's not that late. The sun's hardly even below the mountains, and it still stays light for hours* after that!"** she said as she finally slipped out of her mother's paws and made a break for the nursery entrance. ~~"Hey--"~~ Their mother began to say sternly, but was cut off by Ivorykit. "Pineswirl will take care of me, don't worry!" She called after her mother as she paused there for half a second to flatten out the tufts of long fur that had been pulled up as she struggled out of her mother's grasp. Before their mother had time to reply however, Ivorykit was out of the nursery and out of sight. They left their mother with a bewildered, aggravated look on her face, but no one emerged from the den to peruse the pair, so Ivorykit wrote it off as an escape well-done. "Hey Pineswirl!" she said, grinning as she turned towards her sister. "Thanks for getting me out of there!" (dont mind me doing just a tiny bit of npcing lol)

Catching sight of their mother, she watched in amusement at Ivorykit's attempts to struggle away. She opened her mouth to speak to their mother, though was cut off when Ivorykit slithered out of the queen's grasp and zoomed out of the den. She whispered a quick 'thank you' to her mother, then followed right behind Ivorykit. ~~"Thanks for getting me out of there!"~~ "You're welcome. Do try to lift mother's spirits when you return, though." She purred, taking a glance at the nursery. 'We should probably leave this area in case she comes looking for us.' Beckoning Ivorykit with her tail, she began padding to the opposite end of the camp. Once they were far from the nursery, she made sure the kitten was following before taking a seat westward. The sky had turned a gentle pink-orange color, the sun now barely visible. Soon bats would be soaring the sky, and the moon would rule over them. "Have you ever seen the moon, Ivory?"

Do try to lift mother's spirits when you return, though."~~ Ivorykit wrinkled her nose in protest, but let out a sarcastic "Fiiiinnnneee," anyways. "But she just likes nagging! She knows that we'll be fine," she said, shrugging. "You're here. She knows you'd never let me get in trouble. Plus, why would I have to when you're around? You're fun to play with! It isn't worth getting in trouble if you aren't allowed to see me while I'm sitting around in the nursery doing nothing as a punishment." ~~"Have you ever seen the moon, Ivory?"~~ Ivorykit was silent for a thoughtful moment. "..no. Mom aways put me to bed before I got the chance. But one night, I couldn't sleep. I had a lot of times I didn't sleep before, but I guess something knocked a hole into the top of the den and it hadn't gotten patched that day. I saw weird silver light coming in, but the way my nest was, I couldn't see the actual source. The elders told me the moon was a dimmer sun that comes out at night... was that the moon?"
